Steel Magnolias
I have a confession to make. I didn’t watch the original movie version of Steel Magnolias until a few weeks ago. I know .. I know. It’s one of those movies where if you tell someone you haven’t seen it yet, they proclaim that you must immediately.
Well, I finally did. And yes, I loved it. And yes, I cried. But do you know what really prompted me to finally watch this flick? The fact that another movie version starring Queen Latifah was coming out. I kind of love Queen Latifah. But I knew I had to watch the original before I watched the Lifetime remake.
I loved the remake too. It was just different enough but also kept true enough to the original story. Have you seen the remake? My favorite character from the movies was Annelle. What about you?
