Book Club: The Art Of Racing In The Rain
The most recent book club pick was narrated by a dog. Yes .. a dog. I wasn’t sure about it at first, either. But let me tell you, this book is so good.

It’s one family’s story as told from the point of view of the family dog. And I’ll be honest, for the first 100 pages, I just wasn’t sure. But not because of the narration. There’s a decent amount of car racing talk (confession: I skimmed through those parts), which I’m just not that into. But the overall story was just so good and probably wouldn’t have been as interesting if it weren’t told from Enzo’s (the dog) point of view.

Everyone in book club really enjoyed the novel and thought that Mark Ruffalo would be perfect as the father/husband character .. you know, in our pretend movie version. We haven’t picked our next book yet, but I can’t wait to see what Katie (far right) picks.
In other book news, I’m also reading The End Of Men And The Rise Of Women by Hanna Rosin. I’m only halfway through but I’m already recommending it everybody I talk to. Seriously .. you want to read this book.
