Back To The Honeymoon: Mesmerizing Light Shows

Chad and I came across our first light show in France while visiting Beaune. We’d never seen anything like it and I was just so taken with them. But apparently they are a big thing in France. We saw them in two different areas, but you can find them all over in both big cities and small towns.

The one below is on the Clock Tower in Beaune. I wish I had more photos of this one to share. It’s a series of different images and towards the end there’s a cat chasing a light in and out of the windows of the building. I seriously giggled/screamed with delight at that part.

We saw a second light show in Beaune on another building. I don’t remember which one. I have a few more images of this one.

Here’s a video (not by me) of another church in Beaune with a light show. You get a good idea what it’s like from the video, but it’s really 100 times more exciting in person.

Then, while in Toulouse, we saw a really amazing one that was probably 15 minutes long - much longer than the others. It was playing right outside of our hotel. I was in heaven.
