Remember last week when I talked about my 4 Simple Goals? Well, I’ve made some progress since then I’d like to share with you.
First of all, I cooked some tofu.
And it was so, so delicious. I used Caitlyn’s recipe and just added some salt, pepper and basil to season it. OMG delicious. For realz.
Then I added the tofu to some veggies and couscous. Yum. Yum. Yum. Although, honestly, I could’ve just eaten the tofu by itself. I was so proud of myself for this tofu cooking success. Crunchy on the outside. Soft on the inside. Perfectly seasoned. Hooray!
And I got outside - outside of my neighborhood.
First, Dexter and I visited the Fells - a beautiful hiking spot in a neighboring town.
Then Kayleigh invited me and Dexter on a doggy play date (so cute, right?) with her new and super cute pup, Honey. We met up at a new dog park we hadn’t been to yet.
And I stumbled across this really beautiful community garden on the way to our doggy play date.
And I bought this knitting book.
I haven’t actually read any of it yet, but I will this week. Oh yeah, the author has a great website too.
And last, but certainly not least important - tidiness! I bought a couple of shoe organizers for my number one untidy habit - leaving shoes laying around everywhere. I put one in the foyer closet where OMG shoes were just laying about in a complete mess. And I bought another to replace the crumbling rack holding my shoes in the office closet. It just feels so good having my shoes out of the way and put up. Hooray for tidiness!
