Back To The Honeymoon: Sunflowers Galore!
One of first things Chad and I noticed while driving through the French countryside was how there were sunflowers everywhere. I mean, a ridiculous amount of sunflower fields. I’d never seen so many.
The sunflower fields were always (or mostly) planted next to vineyards. So, at first I thought that sunflowers must be a good rotation crop. Maybe they are. I’m not sure. The only somewhat reliable information I could find on the internet was that sunflowers are a very lucrative crop, which must be why there were so many.
Chad and I finally stopped on the side of the road to snap some pictures in a sunflower field. It was so much fun.
