Out On The Town
What a fun night! This was my first Fashion’s Night Out.
I, of course, stressed about what to wear. It was one of those days when I didn’t feel my best (i.e. bloated and eck). I tried on a few things before saying screw it - simple always works. So, I threw on a pair of dark jeans, black tank, red mocs and fun scarf. I threw everything in a fun purse I found at The Garment District and headed out the door.
Newbury Street was shut down to cars and was pedestrian only. There were bands playing up and down the street and champagne being offered in just about every store you walked into. And oh yeah - lots of mini cupcakes too. A lot of stores also had DJs. AND Agent Provocateur had a live model in it’s window wearing one of their fabulously risqué and super sexy pieces.
My favorite stop of the night was Madewell. It was my first time in the store and I am in love. So many beautiful clothes, booze, really friendly staff and there was a braid bar. A braid bar! I, of course, stepped in line as soon as I purchased a few tops. And then voila - a waterfall braid for me.
I had such a good time and definitely want to go again next year.
