Back To The Honeymoon: A Surprise Retreat
Whaaaaaat?! We just spent an hour screaming at the GPS, driving through construction hell and wondering if we would ever find our hotel. And you know what we found?
Absolute bliss. Right outside of Nimes.
At the end of that row of trees and parked cars is a little oasis. A cute little hotel. Two swimming pools. Tennis courts. An adorable restaurant that serves the most delicious food. Beautiful gardens and ivy covering building walls. It felt like I was in a place that was a cross between scenes from The Secret Garden and Great Expectations. I was a little sad to leave.
