Can’t Get Enough Of: Horny Toad
Right before leaving for France, I stopped by Eastern Mountain Sports to pick up some clothes I would need for the trip - staples like a pair of shorts and a couple of tees.
BTW - I love getting shorts at EMS. They always have the perfect length for me - the kind that hit mid-thigh. I hate it that when shopping for shorts you can only find the super short ones where your butt is practically hanging out. EMS has been my savior for finding shorts that aren’t too short but that also aren’t knee length.
Now to the point of this post - Horny Toad. I ended up getting two of the same kind (different colors) t-shirt there. They were just simple tees that I knew I would be able to wear with just about anything - from pants to shorts to skirts.
I ended up getting the Marley Tee. These shirts are incredible. First of all, they are the most comfortable t-shirts I’ve ever worn. This is no exaggeration - I promise. And after three weeks in France, many wearings, no washings, and being thrown on floors and stuffed into my suitcase who knows how many times - these two shirts never once smelled. And I’m someone who sweats. And if they looked a little wrinkled coming off the floor, the wrinkles somehow just disappeared once I put the shirt on.
I don’t think that I’ll ever buy a plain t-shirt from any company except Horny Toad again. That’s how much I love these shirts.
And after exploring their website, which includes a really great history of the company, a fun blog and lots of cool videos - I can’t wait to get more stuff from them. All of their clothes have this cool, casual, comfortable vibe. They’re clothes that you can dress up or down or just throw on and not have to worry about whether or not it looks good.
