Back To The Honeymoon: Beautiful Beaune
Chad and I spent a couple of days in Beaune, which is in the Burgundy region of France. Burgundy was by far our favorite region for wine. Chad’s favorite wine of the whole trip - rully - was there.
We rented an apartment while we were there and one night while walking home Chad convinced me to go into a local’s (like, really local) bar. We ended up making some friends and when the bar shut down, they (along with the bartender) insisted we go to another bar with them. It turned out to be a really fun night.
I could definitely see us returning to Beaune and spending a month there. It’s such a beautiful, small town and there is the most wonderful farmers/antiques market there on the weekends. There was a lot there that we didn’t get a chance to do and I’d love to go back.
