I went running this morning. I know. I know.
And I wasn’t even planning on doing it, I swear. I rode our stationary bike for a little bit and then got ready to take Dexter out for his morning walk around Fresh Pond. Before I knew it, I was running.
I wasn’t expecting much. I thought I’d run a feet and then stop because of the pain in my knees. But that pain never came.
I’m just waiting to see if my knees still feel good later today and when I wake up tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed.
What do I credit to my knees feeling better? I’ve been taking flaxseed oil pills for a while and that’s helped with the inflammation. But on the recommendation of my sister, Nicole, I recently began taking glucosamine pills as well, which apparently was just what my knees have been needing.
Now, running is not my favorite physical activity. Sometimes I even hate it. But it’s nice to have that option. You know?
