Before I Do: Gentlemen’s Edition
Chad and I didn’t do the whole sleep in separate bedrooms, not see each other the night before wedding thing. We woke up in the same room and saw each other throughout the day. But we did definitely make an effort to mainly hang out with our respective wedding parties. Chad and his guys hung out in the B&B’s tavern room and I spent a lot of time in our room/the bridal suite and the twins’ bedroom, where a lot of hair and makeup and wedding dress ironing was happening.
The guys were really instrumental in making sure that I wasn’t bothered throughout the day, that I could just relax. And I am so thankful for that. When they weren’t writing checks, setting up the bar and getting 20 bags of ice - they just hung out and drank bourbon - something they definitely deserved to do.
