A Rehearsal
Even though I’ve been a part of wedding rehearsals before - participating in your own is a little different. You kind of have to pay attention more. Luckily for us, we hired a day-off wedding coordinator - Liz - and she took charge.
We did most of the assigning of duties/pre-planning inside since it was about 100 degrees that day, like the rest of the wedding weekend. With four bridesmaids, four groomsmen, three ushers and big families on both sides - there were a lot of people to corral.
But in the end, even though we were all sweating profusely, it worked out. Any questions about wedding bands, where people would stand and how Mom and I would walk down the aisle were figured out. And we all rushed back into the B&B as soon as it was over to cool off.
