Being A Bride

It’s three days after the wedding and I’m still finding it a bit hard to collect all of my thoughts from the weekend. Being a bride was one of the most wonderful, difficult, memorable, trying, emotional and best experiences of my life.
I felt like I’d worked really hard before the wedding to be as zen as possible during the actual weekend of the wedding. And you know what? I think it worked.
After all of the planning, list making, emails, phone calls and glue gunning - I was pretty chill the whole weekend - even with the unwanted surprises and stresses dropped on me from places I didn’t expect.
I had fun. Like really had fun. The kind of fun where you feel so proud of yourself for doing everything that you did to make it all happen. The kind of fun you can only have when you’re surrounded by the most amazing people in your life. The kind of fun that occurs when your chosen life partner looks at you throughout the weekend and mouths I love you over and over.
When I look back to this weekend, I’ll know that we were surrounded by love streaming from all corners of our lives. Thanks to everyone who came and those who supported us from afar. My love and thanks to all of you is something I’ll never be able to adequately express.
xoxoxo
