A Wedding Party
Friday night, Chad’s coworkers threw us a little “you’re getting married” party. Colette (pictured next to her fiancé John) organized it all like the superwoman she is and I’m so so thankful.
I don’t get to see Chad’s coworkers all that often and his boss who is notorious for not going to social engagements even showed up. So, it was great to see everyone and even meet some new people. I mean, having a party thrown in your honor is pretty freaking fantastic.
Some friends that weren’t Chad’s coworkers also showed up and I always love it when you can mix together friends/coworkers/family - basically people from different parts of your life together.
I just had the best time at this party. Thanks everyone for coming and giving us a proper wedding send-off. Speaking of send-offs, Chad and I hit the road for Virginia today. Wedding - here we come!
